All about our Primary Dancers!
HDS is a proud Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet studio.
Our Pre - Primary and Primary dancers learn the RAD ballet syllabus; developing the basics of ballet movement in an imaginative, exciting way while learning important numeracy, literacy and social skills.
We are also an ISTD Modern Theatre dance studio, where children can explore the basics of jazz and lyrical dance - the kind of dancing seen in stage productions and on the West End!
These classes are high energy and help develop strength, flexibility and musicality.
Children are invited to participate in awards and regulated examinations in both dance styles as well as perform in our annual studio show and end of term watching weeks!
Children will have developed the early foundational skills of ballet, jazz and lyrical dance by the end of each term.
Age 5 - 6: RAD Pre - Primary Ballet
Age 6 - 7: RAD Primary Ballet
Age 5 - 7: ISTD Primary Modern Theatre Dance
Ballet fees - £26 p/month
Ballet & Modern fees- £48 p/month

How do I book my two week trial?

You'll receive a confirmation email once booked. Details on where to go and what to wear will be emailed to you before your first trial class.

Attend your two trial classes - we can't wait to meet you!
We ensure you are welcomed with warmth and kindness when you arrive.
Cancel completely free of charge after your trial classes if you do not wish to enrol.

Your child is a Herts Dancers!
Enrolment, payment and uniform information will be emailed to you.
Fees are paid monthly via direct debit so our dance classes affordable, convienient and easy to budget! Fees are calculated for 40 weeks in the year then divided into 12 equal payments.
